Charity Day 2026: Our 10th Annual Charity Day!
Every year at The Ice Co, we bring our team together for our annual Charity Day – an afternoon filled with great food, fun activities and most importantly, fundraising for charities nominated by our fantastic employees. This year marks the 10th annual Charity Day at The Ice Co!
The main event this year was a laser tag tournament, with two teams going head-to-head across a series of challenges to battle it out for the win. With plenty of friendly competition and even more enthusiasm, the team certainly brought their A-game!
Let the games begin…
The afternoon kicked off with a points shootout to see which team could be the last one standing, before moving on to a tense game of tug of war. Rather than the traditional rope, teams had to work together to illuminate a column of lights in their team colour.
The competition came to a thrilling finish with a game of capture the flag, where both teams battled it out to claim victory. Everyone got stuck in, but one team managed to pull off a clean sweep of wins!
Food, fun and the ice bag throw
After all the excitement, it was time to refuel with some delicious, loaded fries and an array of sweet treats.
But the fun didn’t stop there. We finished the afternoon with one of our favourite Charity Day traditions – the ice bag throwing competition.
As always, the challenge was simple: throw the 2kg bag as far as possible. There were plenty of impressive attempts, but Liam Hunt came out on top with an incredible throw of 23 metres!
Finishing the day with our charity raffle
To round off the afternoon, we held our annual Charity Day raffle, with some brilliant prizes up for grabs. From retailer and experience vouchers to SharkNinja air fryers, a TV and even annual leave, there was plenty for our team to get excited about.
Of course, the real reason behind our annual Charity Day is to raise as much money as possible for causes that mean something to our employees and their local communities.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our team, alongside a donation from The Ice Co, we’re delighted to have raised £1,941 with a generous donation from the company totalling £16,000 to be shared between the amazing charities nominated by our employees. This year,we’ll be supporting:

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, contributed prizes or helped make the day possible. Charity Day is always one of our favourite days of the year, and this year was no exception!
