All things Tequila! We’ve been getting to know Cazcabel Tequila in our latest ice news series, made in the Jalisco mountains in Mexico. Whether you prefer to sip or savour your tequila, the way we drink it has changed over the years, we’ve ditched the salt and lime and are now huge fans of tequila and tonic served ice-cold with our extra-large ice cubes, Super Cubes. T&T’s are becoming an increasingly popular serve, have you tried it? We’ve invited Cazcabel to let us inside their world and tell us their story. So without further ado, here’s our Q&A with the team…
How long have you been established and how did the journey begin?
Cazcabel launched in 2014 and has become the leader in premium flavoured tequila. Championing premium quality, with enviable packaging, at an accessible price, has always been important for us, and following Don Cazcabel’s philosophy of only using natural ingredients from the land, for our tequila is important.
Tell us 3 fun facts about Cazcabel:
1. Cazcabel has 3 flavour variants within its range; the world’s first Honey tequila, a coffee tequila and our newest flavour coconut tequila.
2. The Cazcabel Tequila range is ideal for enjoying neat over ice and in cocktails or with tonic. Why not try our Cazcabel Coconut Tequila with pineapple juice to make our twist on a Mexican Pina Colada.
3. “Cascabel” in Spanish translates to ‘snake’. If you look closely at our bottle there is a snake circling round the front; a symbol of the mythical Mexican Curador, Don Cazcabel, the Snakeman.
Where in the UK can we buy Cazcabel?
Cazcabel Blanco Tequila is available in M&S, and the whole range is available on Amazon or Cazcabel.com. If you are looking for the ideal gift this is where you can find our range of drinks bundles and even our own La Loteria Tequila game.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
We have some exciting news in the pipeline so keep your eyes peeled!
