Love is in the air, and we are ready!
As we all start planning our romantic dinners and trips away, don’t forget the drinks are as important as the food (if not more!). And what better way to show someone you love them than making a cocktail version of their favourite dessert or sweet treat?
Here are The Ice Co’s 7 favourite dessert cocktail recipes based on familiar flavours we all love – sure to impress any date!

Jaffa Cake Cocktail
Who doesn’t love a Jaffa Cake? And this sumptuous chocolate orange cocktail tastes just like that tasty treat. The perfect way to end a beautiful Valentine’s Day dinner.
Ingredients
X1 Handful Party Ice
X2 Super Cubes
X 50ml Cointreau
X 50ml Crème de Cacao
X 25ml Vodka (orange for extra zingy)
X 50ml Orange Juice
X 25ml Lemon Juice
1 Fresh Egg (white & yolk)
Garnish: Fine Grated Chocolate, Orange Zest
Method
1. Add the Party Ice, and all other ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake very well for about 1 minute.
3. Add 2 Super Cubes to a short rocks glass
4. Strain the cocktail mixture over the Super Cubes being sure to top with some of the foam.
5. Garnish with finely grated chocolate and orange zest.
6. Enjoy!

Red Velvet Martini
A sweet twist on a classic cocktail recipe, and another classic flavour combination. Plus, the red colour looks great alongside any Valentine’s Day decorations.
Ingredients
X1 Handful Party Ice
X 25ml Raspberry Vodka
X 25ml Crème de Cacao
X 12.5ml Aperol
X 12.5ml Grenadine
X1 Tsp Icing Sugar
Garnish: Red sugar crystals
Method
1. Coat the rim of your martini glass in icing sugar & water, then turn the rim in red sugar crystals. Set aside for now.
2. Add the Party Ice and all other ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
3. Shake well!
4. Strain into the prepared glass and serve.

Biscoff Iced Latte
Wanting to jazz up your end-of-the-meal coffee? This is the perfect non-alcoholic drink for anyone with a sweet tooth!
Ingredients
X2 Handfuls Polar Cubes
X1 Tablespoon Biscoff Spread
X 25-50ml of Hot Coffee
Top Up: Milk
Garnish: Biscoff Biscuits
Method
1. In a glass, mix the hot coffee and Biscoff spread until the spread has melted.
2. Add Polar Cubes and some more hot water. Top up with milk.
3. Stir well again and serve!

Turkish Delight Cocktail
Here we have a silky-smooth drink with the distinct flavours of a Turkish Delight. Not only will this delicious dessert cocktail taste nice, but it’s also easy to make and looks impressive!
Ingredients
X1 Handful Party Ice
X 50ml Gin
X 25ml Crème de Cacao
X2 Tsp Lemon Juice
X1 Tsp Rose Water
X1 Tsp Vanilla Essence or Extract
X2 Tsp Sugar Syrup
X1 Egg White
Garnish: Edible Rose Petals, Pink Edible Glitter (Optional)
Method
1. Add the Gin, Crème de Cacao, Lemon Juice, Rose Water, Vanilla, Sugar Syrup and Egg White to a Cocktail shaker. (All ingredients)
2. Shake well!
3. Add the Party Ice, then return the liquid to the shaker and shake well again. This is called a wet shake (without Ice is a dry shake)
4. Strain into a coupe glass, being sure to get some of the froth to sit on top of the drink
5. Garnish with rose petals and edible pink glitter for added effect (optional)
6. Enjoy!

Love Heart Shots
Now for something a bit different. These mini Love Heart Cocktails are great for an exciting and indulgent end to a great meal. And choosing the perfect messages to top your partners drink is half the fun!
Ingredients
X1 Handful Party Ice
X 50ml White Chocolate Liqueur
X 50ml Strawberry Liqueur
X 50ml Vodka
Garnish: Whipped Cream, Sprinkles, Love Heart Sweets
Method
1. Add the Party Ice, white chocolate liqueur, strawberry liqueur and vodka to a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake Well – about 30 seconds to 1 minute
3. Strain into shot glasses and top with whipped cream
4. Decorate with love heart sweets and/or sprinkles
5. Enjoy responsibly!

Cherry Bakewell
One of our most popular cocktail recipes, and for good reason. This sweet drink tastes just like the cake version and will surprise your Valentine’s Day date with its marzipan flavour.
Ingredients
X1 Handful Party Ice
X 50ml Amaretto
X 25ml Cherry Cordial / Liqueur
Top up with Lemonade
Garnish: Cherries
Method
1. Add the amaretto and cherry cordial or liqueur to a cocktail shaker with the Party Ice.
2. Shake Well!
3. Strain the mixture into 2 highball glasses over Polar Cube ice
4. Top up the glasses with lemonade and stir.
5. Garnish with a cherry to serve and enjoy!

Strawberry Donut Freakshake
Another ice-cold tasty dessert drink without alcohol, but no less impressive. And with the bonus of a whole Donut garnish for your freakshake – you get dessert and a drink in one glass!
Ingredients
X1 Handful Party Ice
X1 Handful Strawberries (Chopped and heads removed)
X 15ml Vanilla Syrup
X1 Cup Oat Milk
Top up with whipped Cream and pink sprinkles
Garnish: Pink Sprinkle Donut, Strawberry Sauce, Fizzy Red sweets (optional)
Method
1. Add the Party Ice, Strawberries, Vanilla Syrup and Oat Milk to a blender and blend well.
2. Drizzle strawberry sauce around the inside of the serving glass.
3. Pour in the milkshake mixture from the blender, and then top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
4. Garnish with a whole pink sprinkle donut and any sweets.
5. Serve and enjoy!
