Bring Back Polaroid Photos!

They’re quick, they’re easy and they’re the best way to remember a night with family and friends, but for those who haven’t heard of the iconic polaroid photo, we’re here to run you through exactly why you should get your hands on a point and shoot camera for your next party.

1. They’re great for taking group snaps with family and friends

Just like a photo booth (which might not fit in the everyday living room!), a polaroid is the perfect way of capturing your favourite moments with your loved ones, on film. For an extra bit of fun, why not add in accessories such as feather boas, fancy hats and sunglasses – you’ll definitely get a laugh from it the next morning!

2. You can get them instantly!

Though some polaroid film needs developing, there are also plenty of modern cameras that print your photos pretty much instantly, meaning you can have a copy, in your hands, within minutes. That also means there’s no time for any pouting, posing or 20 retakes either – it really is lights, camera, action!

3. They’re the perfect take home memento

There’s no arguing that a nice picture is the perfect way to remember a night out, and polaroids certainly make an attractive addition to any photo album. If you’re wanting to get a bit more creative, you could even display them on a pin board or hang them on your wall – for some inspiration, why not try looking on Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest?

4. They get you off your phone!

We’re all guilty of it – spending a little too long on our screens when we should be there to socialise! By taking the old school approach and using a polaroid, you can capture the moment without having to use your phone.
