One of our favourite hosting hacks is serving up sharing cocktails, not only does it offer your guests a shared experience but also makes bartending for a crowd a whole lot easier. We’ve made some showstoppers this year, but it always comes back to the crowd pleasers, that’s why we’ve compiled this list of our top 7 classic cocktail batch recipes, to offer something for everyone this party season.
Espresso Martini Sharer - Serves 6
Ingredients
x 300ml Vodka
x 210ml Kahlua
x 150ml Freshly Brewed Coffee
x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 1 bag of Polar Cube ice
Garnish: Coffee Beans, Gold Leaf
Method
1. Fill your Jug with Polar Cube ice then add the vodka, Kahlúa and espresso, stirring with a long spoon to chill the cocktail.
2. When you’re ready to serve, fill your shaker 3/4 of the way with Party Ice, then fill with enough cocktail mix to cover the ice. Cover and shake well to get a nice frothy top on your drinks.
3. Strain into your glasses and garnish with 3 coffee beans and a sprinkle of gold leaf to serve, enjoy! For additional servings, repeat steps 2 & 3 till everyone has enjoyed a delicious batch of Espresso Martini’s.
Long Island Iced Tea Batch Recipe - Serves 8
Ingredients
x 1 bag Party Ice
x 120ml Tequila Blanco
x 120ml White Rum
x 120ml Vodka
x 120ml Gin
x 120ml Triple Sec
x 180ml Lemon Juice
x 180ml Simple Syrup
x 400ml Coca-Cola
Garnish: Lemon Wheel
Method
1. Fill a jug with Party Ice. Add all the spirits plus the lemon juice and simple syrup and stir to chill.
2. Add the Coca-Cola and finish with a short stir to combine.
3. To serve, fill each glass with Party Ice and pour in your cocktail and then garnish with a few lemon slices. Enjoy your Long Island Iced Tea Sharer!
Pornstar Martini Pitcher - Serves 5
Ingredients
x 4 handfuls Party Ice
x 100ml Vanilla Vodka
x 100ml Sugar Syrup
x 150ml Passoa
Top up: 3/4 Pineapple Juice and 1/4 prosecco
Garnish: 5 Passionfruit Halves
Method
1. Add the Party Ice, Passoa, vodka and sugar syrup to a large jug.
2. Pour in the pineapple juice until it’s 3/4’s of the way full, then pour in the Prosecco.
3. Stir well, garnish with the passionfruit halves and serve!
Margarita Batch Recipe - Serves 6
Ingredients
x 200ml Cointreau
x 200ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
x 400ml Tequila
x 60ml Agave Syrup
x 3 Super Cubes
x 1 Handful Party Ice
Garnish: Lime Wedges, Lime Zest and Salt
Method
1. Combine all ingredients (except Super Cubes) in a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve.
2. Zest a lime and mix with salt. Use a lime wedge to rim your glasses then dip into the salt mixture. Fill glasses with Super Cubes.
3. Fill a shaker ¾ of the way full with Party Ice. Add enough margarita mixture to fill the shaker to the top of the ice. Shake well, then strain into your glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge & enjoy!
Hugo Spritz Sharing Size - Serves 8
Ingredients
x 475ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
x 235ml Soda Water
x 1 Bottle Prosecco
x 10 Lime Slices
x 1 handful Mint Leaves
x 1 bag of Polar Cube ice
Garnish: Mint Sprig and a Lime Wheel
Method
1. Fill a jug 1/3 full with Polar Cube ice and add the St Germain and soda water.
2. Add the prosecco with the lime slices and mint leaves, stirring to combine.
3. Fill each glass with Polar Cube ice and add the Hugo Spritz. Garnish with a lime wheel and sprig of mint to serve. Enjoy your Elderflower Hugo Spritz Sharer!
Raspberry Mojito Fishbowl - Serves 8
You really can’t go wrong with a mojito, and this raspberry-flavoured recipe is no exception!
Ingredients
x 1 bag Polar Cube ice
x 4 handfuls Crushed Ice
x 450g Raspberries of fresh lime juice
x 4 limes, juiced
x 300ml White Rum
x 1L Soda Water
Garnish: Mint Sprigs, Raspberries & Lime Wedges
For the Mint Syrup:
x 2 cups Water
x 1 cup Sugar
x 1 Cup Mint Leaves
Method
For the Mint Simple Syrup:
1. Over a medium high heat, bring the sugar and water to a low boil in a saucepan. Stir until the sugar dissolves and then simmer few more minutes without stirring.
2. When the mixture has reduced to half the amount you started with remove from the heat. Add the mint leaves to a bowl and pour the syrup over them and cover until cooled, sitting for around an hour before straining ready to use.
For the Mojitos:
1. Muddle the raspberries in the bottom of your fishbowl with the mint simple syrup. Add the rum and lime juice then stir until combined. Add to the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.
2. When ready to serve add the Polar Cube ice and soda water and stir gently.
3. Pour into glasses filled with Crushed Ice and garnish with a sprig of mint, a lime wedge and raspberries to serve.
Blue Lagoon Fishbowl - Serves 6
Ingredients
x 250ml vodka
x 250ml blue curacao
x 1l lemonade
x 1 bag of Party Ice
Garnish: maraschino cherries and orange wedges
Method
1. Add the vodka and blue curacao to your fishbowl and stir, then fill with half a bag of Party Ice. Add the lemonade and stir to combine.
2. Garnish your jug with orange wedges and maraschino cherries.
3. To serve fill your glass with Party Ice and pour the cocktail over the top, adding an extra cherry and orange wedge on top to serve. Enjoy!
