We are currently existing within a sober-curious movement, and as individuals we are exploring different ways, we can alter our lifestyle to improve our overall wellbeing. With that in mind, we’re keen to share with readers, particularly throughout The Ice Co’s January wellness takeover, fun and creative social activities that don’t require us to go completely tee-total. All whilst allowing us to get creative and explore new hobbies which has an extremely positive effect on our mental health!
The end of January may be fast approaching but there is still time for you and your closest friends to manifest good things your way in 2024. We recommend the perfect way to do it is by hosting a ‘vision board and sip’ night, it’s wholesome, it’s fun and can be done on a small budget for those still eagerly awaiting payday!
So, what is a vision board? Simply put, it’s a collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation. You can fill it with images, words, and symbols that inspire and motivate you. When you look at your board, it should trigger positive emotions.
There are no strict instructions on how to carry out a vision board and sip night, the purpose of it is to create a relaxing yet fun environment for you and your friends. This could be done in the comfort of your living room around a coffee table or on a dining room table, wherever you feel most comfortable! Having an ice bucket brimming with Party Ice and your chosen wine or prosecco close by reduces the interruption of getting creative. The purpose of a vision board and sip night is to get lost in your vision board, zone out from the dark and gloomy nights of January, and instead escape into the endless possibilities 2024 has to offer you!
Having your choice of sip chilling close by also allows your guests to be able to help themselves, relieving you of the pressure of hosting so you can all equally feel the benefits of vision board making. Despite the focus being on looking into the future, we recommend the group create a collaborative playlist before the event packed with songs that remind you of one another, fun memories, or just your favourite songs you want to share! There is nothing better for your mental health than being surrounded by your nearest and dearest with a combined feeling of nostalgia and positivity for the future, all whilst sipping on a chilled prosecco. Thank us later!
