1. ELDERFLOWER HUGO SPRITZ SHARER
First on our list is the perfect Spring spritzer, where every sip is not only delightfully florally but super refreshing – the Elderflower Hugo Spritz Sharer. This easy-to-make cocktail doesn’t require any cocktail tools, just a jug and ingredients so you don’t need to be a mixologist to get it right. What do you need to do? 2. RHUBARB REFRESHER MOCKTAIL
With the taste of Spring still in mind and the sudden surge in popularity of No and Low Alcohol Cocktails, next on our list is the delicious Rhubarb Refresher mocktail which is exactly what it says on the tin – Rhubarb-y, refreshing, and alcohol-free! With the UK weather being slightly unpredictable, sharing this in a Spring Garden with Mum on Mother’s Day weekend may be off the cards. Lucky for you, if you close your eyes, the deliciously tangy Rhubarb Refresher is essentially a Spring Garden in a glass. This one is less about the ice and more about the flavour and requires a handful of Party Ice in a tumbler glass with Rhubarb Syrup and fresh lime juice. Then top with ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge! There has been a surge of interest in low-ABV drinks, and this Vermouth-based Lillet Strawberry Spritzer is truly perfect for springtime and your Mum’s sweet tooth. Add Polar Cube ice to a tumbler glass and pour in Lillet Blanc before adding sliced strawberries and thyme. Begin by adding your peach jam, balsamic vinegar, and vodka to a shaker full of Party Ice and shake well. Despite Flowers for Mum being by far the most physically attractive cocktail on our list, the contents are surprisingly straightforward to make and just as impressive. Flowers for Mum pairs the taste of floral with citrus, meaning it is perfect for Spring celebrations. This cocktail requires a shaker, to which you then add your Gin, St Germain, simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and egg white. Dry Shake vigorously to ensure your cocktail is as foamy as possible, then add ice and shake again to chill. Pour contents into a coupe glass and then release your inner Pablo Picasso when garnishing with your edible flowers.
