We’re here to ensure your drinks are as cool as a cucumber and as colourful as a pride flag in full bloom. Having fun drinks is the key to any party, so let’s get started with some serious sip-spiration!
Rainbow Paradise Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 30ml Grenadine
- 1 cup Polar Cube ice
- 30ml pineapple juice, chilled
- 60ml coconut-flavored rum
- 30ml water
- 15ml Blue Curacao
- Orange slice, for garnish
Method:
- Add the Grenadine to a hurricane glass. Fill glass with Polar Cube ice.
- Combine pineapple juice and coconut rum in a glass measuring cup; slowly pour mixture over ice in glass.
- Combine water and Blue Curacao and slowly pour over pineapple-rum layer. Garnish with an orange slice, if desired.
Fruit Pastille Lolly Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 60ml gin
- 30ml Peach Schnapps
- 3 Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles
- 3 handfuls Party Ice
- Garnish: A Fruit Pastille ice lolly and a sprig of mint
Method:
- Blend 20ml of the gin, 10ml of the Peach Schnapps, a handful of Party Ice and a blackcurrant Fruit Pastille. Remove from the blender and set aside.
- Blend 20ml of the gin, 10ml of the peach schnapps, a handful of Party Ice and an orange Fruit Pastille. Remove from the blender and set aside.
- Blend 20ml of the gin, 10ml of the peach schnapps, a handful of Party Ice and a strawberry Fruit Pastille. Remove from the blender and set aside.
- Using a Copa glass, add one layer of the blackcurrant, filling about 1/3 of the glass, then do the same with the orange and then the strawberry until the glass is full.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and a Fruit Pastille lolly to serve. Enjoy!
White Wine Sangria
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Polar Cube ice
- 1 bottle Pinot Grigio
- 400ml lemon and lime soda water
- 60ml Triple Sec/Cointreau
- 4tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 orange
- 1 peach
- 1 handful strawberries
- Garnish: orange wheel
Method:
- Chop up your fruit and add to a large jug. Add the sugar and churn with a wooden spoon till the fruit and sugar are combined.
- Stir in the Triple Sec and white wine then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. For best results leave overnight.
- Before serving, add two handfuls of Polar Cube and the lemon and lime soda water to the jug and mix.
- To serve, fill each glass with Polar Cube ice and pour in the sangria adding a little of the chopped fruit to each glass. Finish with an orange wheel to garnish, then enjoy!
Pride Flags
To make your own Pride flags for your cocktails, all you need is a straw or cocktail stick, and mix up fabrics and shapes to create flags for your drinks! Experiment with textures like satin and tulle or simply paper, which you can paint or colour on. Alternatively, try patterned fabrics incorporating rainbow hues.
By diversifying your fabric choices and flag designs, you’ll add an extra pop of personality to your Pride party drinks.
