10 Valentine’s Day Cocktails to Satisfy your Sweet Tooth

There are many reasons people choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day, whether it’s date night with your special someone or the perfect excuse to catch up with your girl gang- for us it’s the sweet treats! Once February rolls around you can’t escape the aisles full of romantic chocolate gifts, which is why we’ve created some dessert-inspired Valentine’s Day cocktails for you to enjoy this weekend.

Snickertini

Ingredients

x 1 handful Party Ice
x 2 Super Cubes
x 40ml Caramel Vodka
x 10ml Amaretto
x 10ml Bailey’s Irish Cream
x 10ml Chocolate Liqueur
x 15ml Cream
Garnish: Chocolate and Caramel Sauce

Method

1. Take a rocks glass and carefully drizzle line of the caramel and chocolate sauces around the inside of the glass. Leave in the fridge to set.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with Party Ice and add the vodka, amaretto, Bailey’s, chocolate liqueur and heavy cream. Shake well to combine.

3. To serve, pour your cocktail into the garnished glass. Enjoy your Snickertini!

Parma Violet Spritz

Ingredients

x 1 handful Polar Cube ice
x 75ml Prosecco
x 50ml Creme de Violette Liqueur
Top up: Soda Water
Garnish: Parma Violet Sweets

Method

1. Grab a wine glass and add your prosecco and violet liqueur.

2. Fill the glass with Polar Cube ice.

3. Top up with soda water and garnish with a pack of Parma Violet sweets to serve. Enjoy your Parma Violet Spritz!

Toblerone Martini

Ingredients

x 2 Handfuls Party Ice
x 40ml Vanilla Rum
x 15ml Amaretto
x 20ml Brown Creme de Cacao
x 1 Egg White (Small-Medium Egg)
x 20ml Single Cream
x 10ml Honey Syrup
Garnish: Cocoa Powder and Toblerone Peices

Method

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with Party Ice.

2. Add your rum, amaretto, creme de cacao, honey syrup, cream and egg white and shake well to combine.

3. Double strain your cocktail into a coupe glass. Garnish your cocktail by adding toblerone segments to the rim and add a light dusting of cocoa power to serve. Enjoy your Toblerone Martini!

Jaffa Cake Cocktail

Ingredients

x 1 handful Party Ice
x 2 Super Cubes
x 50ml Cointreau
x 50ml Creme de Cacao
x 25ml Vodka (orange for extra zingy)
x 50ml Orange Juice
x 25ml Lemon Juice
x 1 Fresh Egg (white & yolk)
Garnish: Fine Grated Chocolate, Orange Zest

Method

1. Add the Party Ice, and all other ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake very well for about 1 minute.

2. Add 2 Super Cubes to a short rocks glass and strain the cocktail mixture over the Super Cubes being sure to top with some of the foam.

3. Garnish with finely grated chocolate and orange zest.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Martini

Ingredients

x 2 Handfuls Party Ice
x 40ml Chocolate Vodka
x 25ml Peanut Rum
x 15ml Chocolate Liqueur
x 30ml Cream
Garnish: Chocolate Sauce & Peanut Butter Cups

Method

1. Add some chocolate sauce to a saucer and dip in your martini glass to coat the rim. Chop up some peanut butter cups on a seperate saucer and dip the rim of the glass again to coat. Add a drizzle of chocolate sauce into the glass then place in the fridge to set.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vodka, peanut rum, chocolate liqueur and cream and shake well to combine.

3. Strain the cocktail into your garnished glass to serve. Enjoy your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini

Cherry Bakewell

Ingredients

x 1 handful Polar Cube ice
x 1 handful Party Ice
x 50ml Amaretto
x 25ml Cherry Cordial/Liqueur
Top up: Lemonade
Garnish: Fresh Cherries

Method

1. Add the amaretto and cherry cordial or liqueur to a cocktail shaker with the Party Ice and shake well!

2. Strain the mixture into 2 highball glasses over Polar Cube ice, top up with lemonade and stir.

3. Garnish with a cherry to serve and enjoy!

Love Heart Shots

Ingredients

x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 50ml White Chocolate Liqueur
x 50ml Strawberry Liqueur
x 50ml Vodka
Garnish: Whipped Cream, Sprinkles, Love Heart Sweets

Method

1. Add the Party Ice, white chocolate liqueur, strawberry liqueur and vodka to a cocktail shaker. Shake Well – about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

2. Strain into shot glasses and top with whipped cream.

3. Decorate with love heart sweets and/or sprinkles.

Tiramisu Temptation

Ingredients

x 2 Super Cubes
x 30ml Dark Rum
x 30ml Espresso
x 25ml Tiramisu Syrup
Garnish: A piece of Dark Chocolate

Method

1. In a tall glass add the rum, espresso and tiramisu syrup. Mix with a bar spoon to combine.

2. Add 2 Super Cubes to a rocks glass and pour the cocktail over the ice.

3. To serve, garnish with a piece of dark chocolate. Enjoy your Tiramisu Temptation!

Nutella Martini

Ingredients

x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 25ml Vodka
x 1 Almost empty Nutella Jar
x 20ml Hazelnut Liqueur
x 75ml Milk
Garnish: Nutella & Half a Strawberry

Method

1. Grab your “almost empty” jar of Nutella and add in the vodka, hazelnut liqueur and milk, then apply the lid and shake to combine.

2. Grab a cocktail shaker and fill with Party Ice then pour the contents of the Nutella jar over and shake.

3. Rim a martini glass with Nutella before double straining the contents of the shaker in. Garnish with half a strawberry and enjoy!

Turkish Delight Cocktail

Ingredients

x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 50ml Gin
x 25ml Crème de Cacao
x 2tsp Lemon Juice
x 1tsp Rose Water
x 1tsp Vanilla Essence or Extract
x 2tsp Sugar Syrup
x 1 Egg White
Garnish: Edible Rose Petals, Pink Edible Glitter (Optional)

Method

1. Add the Gin, Crème de Cacao, Lemon Juice, Rose Water, Vanilla, Sugar Syrup and Egg White to a Cocktail shaker. (All ingredients) Shake well!

2. Add the Party Ice, then return the liquid to the shaker and shake well again. This is called a wet shake (without Ice is a dry shake)

3. Strain into a coupe glass, being sure to get some of the froth to sit on top of the drink. Garnish with rose petals and edible pink glitter for added effect (optional)
