So grab your cocktail shaker, pop open your freezer, and get ready to ignite your taste buds this summer – The Ice Co is bringing the spice!
1. Spicy Pineapple Tequila Spritz
A sweet-spicy highball with juicy pineapple and tequila, topped with sparkling water for a light and lively finish.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Tequila
- 80ml Pineapple juice
- 25ml Jalapeno Simple Syrup
- A Squeeze of lime juice
- Top up with Lemon & Lime Sparkling Water
- Polar Cube Ice
- Tajin
Method:
- Make the jalapeno syrup by adding ½ cup of sugar, ½ cup of water and 1 jalapeno to a small saucepan, bringing it to a simmer. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from the heat and allow to cool. Then store in a jar in the fridge until ready to use.
- Rub a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and dip in tajin to coat.
- Add the pineapple juice, tequila and jalapeno simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with Party Ice and shake well to combine.
- Fill your glass with Polar Cube ice and top up with the sparkling water and a squeeze of lime juice.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge to serve.
2. Hot Honey Mango Margarita
A tropical classic with a fiery twist. Sweet mango and tangy lime balance perfectly against the hot honey, all chilled with Super Cubes.
Ingredients:
For the Puree:
- 140g Mango Chunks
- 40ml Water
- 1tbsp Sugar
For the Cocktail:
- 1 handful Party Ice
- 2-3 Super Cubes
- 40ml Tequila
- 20ml Cointreau
- 30ml Lime Juice
- 2.5tbsp Mango Puree
- 1tbsp Hot Honey
- Garnish: Lime Wheels, Tajin & Mango Chunks
Directions:
Combine the mango, water and sugar in a blender to create the mango puree. Dip the rim of your glass into your hot honey and then into the Tajin to coat the rim. Fill a cocktail shaker with Party Ice and add the tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, mango puree and hot honey. Shake well to combine. Fill your glass with Super Cubes and add a few lime wheels before straining the cocktail over the ice. To serve, garnish with Tajin coated mango chunks. Enjoy!
3. Hot Honey Blackberry Margarita
Don’t know about you but we’re a OBSESSED with Hot Honey at the moment… if you’re in the same boat, you have to give this Hot Honey Blackberry Margarita a try.
Ingredients:
- 2 Handfuls of Party Ice
- 30mlTequila
- 15ml Cointreau
- 15ml Honey
- 3 slices of Chilli
- 1handful of Blackberries
- Lime Wheel
Method:
- To make your hot honey, combine 15ml honey with 3 chilli slices and muddle for 1-2 minutes.
- In a shaker, add tequila, Cointreau, lime, blackberries, hot honey and a handful of Party Ice before shaking to combine.
- Select a glass of your choice and fill with more Party Ice before double straining the contents of the shaker over.
- To garnish, add in some fresh blackberries and a lime wheel, enjoy your Hot Honey Blackberry Margarita!
4. Jalapeño Paloma
A bold, zesty take on the Mexican classic. Spicy jalapeño adds heat to the refreshing grapefruit fizz, balanced with tequila and lime.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Tequila
- 25ml Fresh lime juice
- 100ml Grapefruit soda (or mix of juice + soda)
- 2–3 Jalapeño slices
- Pinch of salt
- The Ice Co Polar Cube ice
Method:
- Muddle jalapeño slices and lime juice in a shaker.
- Add tequila and shake with ice.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with Polar Cube ice
- Top with grapefruit soda and garnish with a jalapeño slice and lime wheel.
5.Smoky Jalapeño Margarita
Earthy mezcal meets fresh tequila, cooled with lime and elevated with smoky jalapeño heat. A drink with depth and fire.
Ingredients:
- 35ml Tequila
- 15ml Mezcal
- 25ml Fresh lime juice
- 15ml Agave syrup
- 2 Jalapeño slices
- The Ice Co Super Cubes
Method:
- Muddle jalapeño slices in a shaker.
- Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice.
- Fine strain into a rocks glass over Super Cubes.
- Garnish with a jalapeño wheel and a smoked salt rim (optional).
