As part of our exciting new partnership with Disney’s Frozen the Musical, we’ve got lots of cool updates to share with you in the coming months.
Part 1 takes place on Saturday 13th November, when we’ll be heading down to Covent Garden for the first time in forever to display 9 Frozen-themed ice sculptures made from our very own ice! This joins part of the Frozen Forest which is currently on display, a festival installation where snow is falling ever hour.
Take a look here…
The special one-off event is open from 10am to 6pm and will be displayed throughout the piazza for families to enjoy. The sculptures include Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and more. If you’re feeling stressed lately, just let it go and come along to take pictures, videos and get involved in the fun!
We’ll also be hosting a live carve demonstration of Sven for passes by to see in action. It doesn’t stop there…there will also be a giant ice wall where you and your little ones can come along and carve out the letters ‘Frozen’, so you can try your hand at ice sculpting. This will be open from 1-4pm. Hans up if you’re as excited as us!
The team from The Ice Co will be there to give out freebies, as well as having some props on hand for you to take some fabulous pictures no matter what the weather. The cold never bothered us anyway!
If you’re in London this weekend, head on down to Covent Garden to join in all the fun and make it a weekend to remember – you wouldn’t want to be doing anything Elsa!
Frozen the Musical has been a hot hit and has been rated 5 stars by the Daily Mail.
Frozen opened to critical acclaim last month at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. With a multi award-winning creative team – music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and book by Jennifer Lee, Frozen is directed by Michael Grandage, and the company is led by Samantha Barks (Elsa), Stephanie McKeon (Anna), Obioma Ugoala (Kristoff), Craig Gallivan (Olaf), Oliver Ormson (Hans), Richard Frame (Weselton), and alternating the role of Sven, Mikayla Jade and Ashley Birchall.
We are currently running a competition to WIN x4 tickets to the musical. This ends on Sunday 21st November at 8pm. Head to our Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to enter!
We look forward to seeing you there!
