1. Sex on the Beach slushy
A summer party wouldn’t be a summer party without a bit of sex on the beach. Make this a staple and keep your guests wanting more.
Ingredients (serves 4)
x4 handfuls of Party Ice
x4 measures vodka
x4 measures peach Schnapps
x200ml orange juice
x200ml cranberry juice
x400g frozen peaches
Garnish: Orange slices
Method
1. Blend Party Ice, vodka, peach Schnapps, orange juice and frozen peaches and put to one side.
2. Add around 50ml of cranberry juice to the bottom of each glass.
3. Add the vodka mixture on top of the cranberry to create an ombre effect.
4. Garnish with a slice of orange, serve and enjoy!
2. Pina Colada Slushy
If you’re a fan of the classic Pina Colada with all its tropical retro vibes, you’ll love this one. If you can’t find coconut ice cream, you can substitute with vanilla – though it might be a bit less coconutty.
Ingredients
x2 handfuls Party Ice
x4 measures of Malibu
x4 scoops coconut ice cream
x320ml pineapple juice
x100ml coconut cream
Method
1. Blend ice with all other ingredients.
2. Serve in tall glasses and enjoy!
3. Mango and Strawberry Margarita
A refreshingly different take on a classic, this marvellous margarita is sure to be one of your most-loved slushy cocktails. Just don’t forget the lime, it gives it its ju ne se quoi.
Ingredients (serves 4)
x2 handfuls Party Ice
x6 strawberries
x6 mango chunks
x2 measures tequila
x2 tsp’s sugar
x2 measures lime juice
Garnish: Lime slices
Method
1. Blend Party Ice with all the other ingredients, except the garnishes.
2. Divide the mixture equally between four balloon glasses.
3. Garnish with a slice of lime and devour!
4. Raspberry Gin Slushy
There’s nothing more summery than a batch of sweet raspberries, and this Raspberry Gin Slushy offers a new way to enjoy them! We leave the seeds in, but if you don’t like them, you can filter them out.
Ingredients (serves 4)
x2 handfuls Party Ice
x600g frozen raspberries
x8 tbsp’s lime cordial
x4 limes, juice only
x100ml gin
x500ml soda water
Garnish: Mint sprigs
Method
1. Blend Party Ice with all other ingredients until you have a smooth consistency.
2. Top up with extra soda water if you’d like a thicker consistency.
3. Divide equally between four glasses and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Voila!
