Swap the rum on the rocks for something different this weekend with this Original Deeds Cherry Smash, made with Original Deeds rum. Blended with caramel, vanilla and jet-black liquorice, the Caribbean rum blend is balanced perfectly in this cocktail with fresh cherries & ginger beer.

Ingredients

Blue sqiggle
  • x 2-3 Super Cubes
  • x 60ml Original Deeds Rum Blend
  • x 5 Cherries (halved and pitted)
  • x 1tsp Natural Cane Sugar
  • x 6 Mint Leaves
  • x 15ml Lemon Juice
  • Top Up: Ginger Beer

Method

Yellow sqiggle
  • 1. Take a rocks glass and add the cherries, sugar and lemon juice. Muddle well until combined. Slap the mint leaves between your hands then add to the glass.
  • 2. Add 2-3 Super Cubes to your glass, then pour your Origianl Deeds Rum over the ice. Top up with ginger beer and stir gently to combine.
  • 3. To serve, garnish with a sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy your Original Deeds Cherry Smash.
