The final bank holiday of the year is almost upon us and what better way to spend it than perfecting one of the UK’s favourite cocktail serves: the Pornstar Martini. Recipes vary from venue to venue and personal taste, but with our cocktail expertise at The Ice Co we can safely say our recipe is up there with the best!
Not only can you find the best recipe for the classic serve here, but we’ve also mixed up a few variations we simply had to share with you before the festivities of the long weekend begin. Classic Pornstar Martini
Ingredients
x 1 handful Party Ice
x 3 Passionfruit Halves
x 50ml Vanilla Vodka
x 25ml Passoa
x 20ml Lime Juice
On the side: 50ml Prosecco
Garnish: 1/2 a passionfruit
Method
1. Add the Party Ice to a cocktail shaker, then scoop out the inside of 3 passionfruit halves into the shaker.
2. Add the remaining ingredients, shake hard and strain into a chilled martini glass.
3. Place a passionfruit half on top and it’s ready to serve. If you want to go all out, serve a shot of Prosecco on the side.
Pornstar Martini Pitcher - Serves 5
Ingredients
x 4 handfuls Party Ice
x 200ml Vanilla Vodka
x 150ml Passoa
x 100ml Sugar Syrup
Top Up: 3/4 pineapple juice & 1/4 prosecco
Garnish: 5 passionfruit halves
Method
1. Add the Party Ice, Passoa, vodka and sugar syrup to a large jug.
2. Pour in the pineapple juice until it’s 3/4’s of the way full, then pour in the Prosecco.
3. Stir well, garnish with the passionfruit halves and serve!
Frozen Pornstar Martini
Ingredients
x 1 handful Party Ice
x 3 Passionfruits
x 120g Frozen Mango
x 45ml Vanilla Vodka
x 30ml Passoa
A Squeeze of Lime Juice
Garnish: Half a Passionfruit
Method
1. Scoop the insides of 3 passionfruits into a fine mesh strainer. Push the passionfruit through the strainer using the back of a spoon to create your puree.
2. Add a handful of Party Ice, the frozen mango, puree, vodka and Passos to a blender with a squeeze of lime juice. Blend until smooth.
3. Pour your cocktail into a glass and garnish with ½ a passionfruit. Enjoy your frozen pornstar martini!
Pornstar Martini Mocktail
Ingredients
x 1 handful Party Ice
x 2 Passionfruits
x 60ml Passionfruit Juice
x 45ml Cloudy Apple Juice
x 15ml Vanilla Syrup
A Squeeze of Lime Juice
Garnish: 50ml Nosecco
Garnish: Half a Passionfruit
Method
1. Scoop out the inside of 2 passionfruits and push through a fine mesh strainer to create a passionfruit puree.
2. Fill your cocktail shaker with party ice and add the passionfruit puree, passionfruit juice, apple juice, vanilla syrup and a few drops of fresh lime juice. Shake well to combine.
3. Strain your cocktail into a coupe glass and garnish with half a passionfruit. Serve with a shot of nosecco on the side. Enjoy your Pornstar Martini Mocktail!
