Towards the end of 2024, we invited all of our employees to take part in the Great Place to Work survey for the 2nd time, to tell us honestly what it’s like to work at The Ice Co. Now, we’re thrilled to announce that with the feedback from our colleagues, not only are we Great Place To Work certified for the 2nd year running, but we’re a UK’s best workplace in Manufacturing, Production and Transportation!
What is Great Place to Work Certification?
Great Place to Work Certification is a recognition for employers who create an outstanding employee experience. This is decided using the results from their survey taken by the employees.
How did we compare to other UK businesses?
We were incredibly pleased that 76% of employees at The Ice Co said that it was a great place to work, compared to 54% of employees at a typical UK-based company! We’ve worked incredibly hard to create a workplace and build a team that aligns with our core values;

Employee well-being is of the utmost importance to us here, which is why we now have 17 trained Mental Health First Aiders, compulsory training for all staff in Mental Health Awareness and a wellness room on site available 24/7 for drop-ins. We feel very strongly about ensuring the team has adequate training and tips to look after their own and others’ mental health.
