With the 2026 World Cup just around the corner, there’s no better way to celebrate than with an ice-cold beer — or better yet, a beer cocktail! If you usually reach for your favourite beer on match day, why not try it with a twist? We’ve put together six beer cocktails to enjoy throughout the tournament to combat beer fatigue, so even if your team doesn’t lift the trophy, your drink can still be a winner!
Inspired by two of England’s standout players, these beer cocktails are made to impress- whether you’re hosting friends or simply enjoying a cold one on match day. It’s no surprise they’re fan favourites! Let’s dive in…
1. The England XI Series No. 9: The Striker — Inspired by Harry Kane
Bold, powerful and always on target — just like the man himself!
Harry Kane doesn’t do anything by halves, and neither does this drink. The Striker is a bold, punchy beer cocktail that goes straight for the goal — golden lager meets fiery ginger beer, a shot of bourbon for warmth and depth, a squeeze of fresh lemon and a dash of honey syrup to round it all out. It’s assertive, it’s full of character, and it delivers every single time. Just like a Kane penalty — you always know it’s going in.
