Whether you’re hosting a party, or just want to enjoy a night in with friends, a great shot can make for a great evening.
Here are The Ice Co’s favourite four shot recipes that are sure to get the party started once the little ones are safely tucked in bed.
Baby Guinness Shots
Baby Guinness shots are very popular right now, and with very good reason – they’re delicious! The combination of coffee liqueur and Irish cream liqueur makes for a smooth and creamy shot that resembles a tiny pint of Guinness. And best of all, these shots are super easy to make!
Ingredients
x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 60ml Coffee Liqueur
X 30ml Irish Cream Liqueur
Method
- Add the Party Ice and Coffee Liqueur to a cocktail shaker
- Shake Well – about 30 seconds to 1 minute
- Strain into shot glasses and gently top with Irish Cream Liqueur
- Allow a few moments for the shot to settle
- Enjoy responsibly!
Love Heart Shots
The Ice Co’s Love Heart Shots are the perfect drink for any two lovebirds once the kids are tucked up in bed, and getting to choose the best messages to garnish your partner’s drink is half the fun!
Ingredients
x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 50ml White Chocolate Liqueur
x 50ml Strawberry Liqueur
x 50ml Vodka
Garnish: Whipped Cream, Sprinkles, Love Heart Sweets
Method
- Add the Party Ice, white chocolate liqueur, strawberry liqueur and vodka to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake Well – about 30 seconds to 1 minute
- Strain into shot glasses and top with whipped cream
- Decorate with love heart sweets and/or sprinkles
- Enjoy responsibly!
Lemon Drop Shots
Looking for something that’s a perfect mix of sweet and sour? Look no further than Lemon Drop Shots! Sweet, tart and smooth – there’s no better combination!
Ingredients
x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 30ml Vodka
x 15ml Lemon Juice
x 15ml Simple Syrup
Garnish: Wedge of lemon
Method
- Add the Party Ice, vodka, lemon juice and syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- Shake Well – about 30 seconds to 1 minute
- Strain into shot glasses
- Serve with a wedge of lemon
- Enjoy responsibly!
Optional: rim the shot glass with sugar before pouring.
Chocolate Cake Shots
Who says chocolate is just for kids? These Chocolate Cake Shots are the perfect treat for grown-ups enjoying some kid-free time.
Ingredients
x 1 Handful Party Ice
x 30ml Hazelnut Liqueur
x 15ml Plain or Vanilla Vodka
Garnish: Wedge of lemon
Method
- Add the Party Ice, hazelnut liqueur and vodka into a cocktail shaker.
- Shake Well – about 30 seconds to 1 minute
- Strain into shot glasses
- Serve with a wedge of lemon
- Enjoy responsibly!
